As part of our Finance team, we are looking for a Senior Accountant to accelerate our growth.

Responsibilities

As a key team member of our Finance Team, you will focus on the following:

1. Produce error-free accounting reports for multi-entities from different countries
2. Reconcile data for financial, tax and compliance reporting
3. Support month-end and annual closure
4. Track and follow up payment collection & release for both clients and vendors
5. Reconcile collections, system data and Accounts Receivable records
6. Assist payments process
7. Develop and maintain end-to-end financial workflows
8. Assist the annual audit process
9. Monitor and ensure timely filing of VAT returns
10. Assist with tax audits and tax returns if and when needed
11. Ensure ADGM regulations are met

Requirements

1. Being located in Abu Dhabi is a must
2. Proficiency in English is required, additional languages would be beneficial
3. Professional qualification (CPA/ACCA/CIMA/CMA) or equivalent is a must
4. Proficiency in IFRS/IAS and GAAP
5. Experience in a group of companies with multi-entity and multi-currency accounting
6. Strong analytical skills with acute attention to details and quality focus
7. 4+ years of proven experience in bookkeeping/finance/audit, invoicing, payments, reconciliation
8. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly and efficiently resolve challenges
9. Strong team player with interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with key stakeholders
10. Advanced experience in MS Office
11. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

1. 1+ years of proven experience in global payroll processing/controlling or EOR/PEO accounting
2. 1+ years of proven experience in FinTech
