Senior Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Accountant with proven experience in the property development sector. This role is ideal for someone who can confidently manage end-to-end accounting operations, handle off-plan project financials, and coordinate across departments including audit, legal, CRM, and project teams.

We are looking for candidates who have worked in the property developer environment and have experience handling the financials of multiple off-plan projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full ownership of accounting operations payables, receivables, reconciliations, and reporting
• Maintain accurate customer account statements and handle project-wise financial tracking
• Process customer payment plans, service charge waivers, and refunds for off-plan property sales
• Manage and reconcile multiple bank accounts across various property development projects
• Prepare monthly MIS reports and support cash flow forecasting
• Coordinate and prepare for internal and external audits
• Liaise with legal, CRM, and handover teams to ensure financial and contractual compliance
• Ensure accurate posting of debit/credit notes, installment adjustments, and other developer-related charges
• Respond to customer financial queries related to off-plan transactions
• Maintain clean and audit-ready records across all financial functions

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of accounting experience in a property development company
• Hands-on experience with off-plan sales accounting and developer contractual obligations
• Ability to manage financials for multiple development projects simultaneously
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, real estate regulations, and compliance practices in the UAE
• Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books, or ERP platforms
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
• Experience coordinating audits and preparing documentation for review
• CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent qualification is preferred
