Senior Accountant

The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
2. Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close.
3. Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes.
4. Research and analyze expense variances for company management.
5. Handle end-to-end accounting functions.
6. Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
7. Generate various MIS reports, including monthly profitability, yearly/quarterly budgets, and cash flow analysis.
8. Conduct report analysis and provide insights.
9. Coordinate with various departments for operational finance matters.

Qualifications

4+ years of professional accounting experience with at least 2 years in UAE market.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience.

MCom/ Inter CA / MBA (Finance) (Preferred)
