Overview:

Al Rasikhoon Real Estate is seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of expertise in the UAE, preferably within the construction or engineering consultancy sector, to manage and verify our financial transactions. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of a leading real estate company in Umm Al Quwain.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate on the preparation of accurate and compliant financial statements.
2. Assist in the overall financial statement preparation process with a proactive approach.
3. Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
4. Post journal entries for accrued expenses and revenue.
5. Meticulously manage and record fixed assets.
6. Thoroughly analyze and reconcile bank statements while maintaining a detailed general ledger.
7. Continuously analyze financial reports and forecasts for a comprehensive understanding of the financial landscape.
8. Prepare and file local compliance reports as needed.
9. Act as a liaison for subcontractors and materials, resolving billing discrepancies.
10. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
11. Execute month-end close procedures to ensure financial accuracy and reliability.
12. Contribute valuable insights through the analysis of financial reports and forecasts.
13. Provide support during audits and financial reviews.
14. Perform other accounting duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction or engineering consultancy industry.
3. Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
4. Proficiency in ERP systems and the MS Office suite.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Strong problem-solving abilities.
7. Capable of multitasking and prioritizing work effectively.
8. Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
