Senior Accountant

Job Description

We are looking for Senior Accounts to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.

Accountant responsibilities include monthly financial reporting documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements, and calculating tax payments and returns. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes.

Responsibilities

1. Coordinating with banks for import and local payments including Cheque/LC and export documents discounting and managing fund facilities.
2. Process hands-on experience in handling STL/TR/LC payment, their margin, and renewal of such facilities.
3. Review P&L actual against budget for gross profit, costs, and investments.
4. Monthly preparation of management report division-wise and consolidated reporting.
5. Account receivable and payable aging analysis.
6. Prepare budget forecasts.
7. Experience in Power BI.
8. Provide supplemental management reporting information.
9. Approve and distribute reports for review by management.
10. Report and analyze period-end results, initiate improvement activities.
11. Ensure timely bank payments.
12. Expense booking, provision & accruals.
13. Exposure to inventory reports preparation.
14. Audit financial transactions and documents.
15. Coordinate with external audits.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
2. Minimum 7 years of experience.
3. Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power BI, PowerPoint, etc.).
