Job Description: Senior Accountant

Candidate from Manufacturing Accounting (MUST) & Information Management Systems

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting and demonstrate excellent analytical and organizational skills. This role involves overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic insights to enhance efficiency and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Solid accounting background with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  2. Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  3. Experience in Manufacturing Accounting (MUST) & Information Management Systems.
  4. Minimum 5 years of ERP system experience.
  5. High communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Monitor and manage accounting and financial activities effectively.
  7. Provide technical support and advice on management accounting.
  8. Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.
  9. Maintain the general ledger and prepare month-end and year-end closing processes.
  10. Possess knowledge and experience with tax audits and tax returns.
  11. Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all financial transactions.
  12. Demonstrate aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
  13. Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
  2. Proven track record of working in manufacturing or similar industries.
  3. Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  4. Comprehensive knowledge of tax regulations and auditing processes.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
