We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant with Manufacturing Industry background to oversee financial operations within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will manage financial reporting, compliance, and healthcare-specific accounting processes while supporting the organization's strategic goals. This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare finance, UAE regulatory requirements, and advanced financial analysis skills.
Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction or revenue enhancement.
Budgeting & Forecasting
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor actual results against budgets and provide variance analysis reports to management.
Healthcare-Specific Accounting
Manage billing, revenue cycle, and reimbursement processes, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Monitor and report on patient accounts, insurance claims, and receivables.
Handle healthcare-specific costs such as equipment depreciation, staff allocations, and clinical supplies.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure adherence to local healthcare finance regulations and tax laws in the UAE.
Coordinate with auditors for annual audits and resolve any identified issues.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
Oversee vendor payments, expense reimbursements, and receivables from insurance companies or patients.
Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow effectively.
Mentor and supervise junior accountants and finance team members.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., procurement, HR) to align financial operations with organizational goals.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
CPA certification is highly desirable, showcasing commitment to professional standards and ongoing education.
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing industry background, demonstrating familiarity with industry-specific challenges.
Experience with financial software and ERP systems, specifically those tailored for healthcare, to enhance reporting accuracy.
Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools, enabling detailed financial modeling and reporting.
