Senior Accountant

800 Motor Guru Auto Repairing Services is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting within the automotive or service industry.

Job Description

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
• Manage cash flow, forecast financial performance, and ensure optimal fund allocation.
• Handle VAT compliance, filing, and ensure adherence to UAE tax regulations.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and potential risks.
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
• Supervise junior accountants and provide guidance to improve financial processes.
• Ensure timely closing of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financials.
• Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and recommendations for business growth.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or CMA is a plus).
• Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the automotive or service industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations in the UAE.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Autorox & CRM system).
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze large data sets.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
