Senior Accountant

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Overview of the company: The Company is involved in plastic processing as well as general trading activities with major focus towards export market.

Job Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Salary: AED 5,000 - 7,000 per month

Job Responsibilities:

• Process and record various accounting entries in compliance with company policies.
• Perform accounts payable & receivable functions, bank reconciliations, and ledger scrutiny.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with financial controls and internal procedures.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Support audit preparation and liaise with auditors.
• Ensure adherence to UAE VAT laws and filing of tax returns.
• Maintain accurate financial records and comply with UAE accounting regulations.
• Work proficiently on Tally ERP and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Assist in improving automation and efficiency of accounting processes.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years in an accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, processes, and controls.
• Hands-on experience with Tally ERP and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
