Senior Accountant

Seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a proven track record of success in a real estate or property management company. This is a key role within our organization, responsible for overseeing all financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all aspects of the company's financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
2. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
3. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
4. Develop and maintain financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.
5. Manage the preparation and filing of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
6. Collaborate with other departments to develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
7. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
8. Train and mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on complex accounting issues.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a real estate or property management company.
4. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
5. Experience with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
