Job Purpose

Apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports by compiling information, preparing profit and loss statements, and utilizing appropriate accounting control procedures.

Job Responsibilities

1. Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts such as general ledger accounts and document business transactions.
2. Supervise the input and handling of financial data and reports for the company's automated financial systems.
3. Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
4. Analyze expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels and ensure expenditure control.
5. Explain accounting policies to staff/branch and vendors.
6. Resolve accounting discrepancies wherever required.
7. Responsible for overall payroll process (in coordination with GHRD) and Staff Incentive within the stipulated time.
8. Closely scrutinize documents to ensure they are in order/error-free to release Vendors/Group/Statutory payables duly verified with reconciliations and maintain terms of payment.
9. Handle admin related jobs, liaise with Vendors, release POs for Assets/Maintenances and Staff tickets.
10. Recommend, develop and maintain financial databases, computer software systems, and manual filing systems.
11. Liaise with Internal and External Auditors in completing audits in time, assist in year-end & monthly closing of books and preparation of Schedules for Audits.
12. Establish, maintain and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
13. Ensure assigned work activities are carried out as per Company policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

Qualifications: Graduate from Accounting/Management fields.

Experience: Minimum required experience.
