Overview

Role Purpose:

We are looking for Account Managers/Senior Account Managers.

The Account Manager/Senior Account Manager is a dynamic and pivotal role, primarily focused on driving sales and managing key client relationships within various industry verticals. This position is responsible for spearheading effective account management strategies, fostering robust client engagement, and developing innovative sales approaches. The role involves deeply understanding client needs and aligning them with our comprehensive suite of in-house or outsourced solutions, with a special emphasis on Data & AI, and Generative AI technologies.

The Opportunity

The Account Manager/Senior Account Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing client satisfaction, expanding our market presence, and achieving ambitious sales targets by leveraging cutting-edge AI solutions to address complex client challenges and drive digital transformation.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with major accounts to promote our wider portfolio of offerings with focus on Data & AI, and Generative AI solutions, achieving high levels of customer satisfaction and trust.
  2. Advise on the best strategies to retain long-term client relationships, to align with the client's growth vision.
  3. Validate the company's strategic priorities with regards to Data & AI and GenAI, ensuring maximum exposure of our service offerings to the client.
  4. Contribute to an increase in our products usage by existing clients, focusing on Data & AI and GenAI applications in different industry verticals.
  5. Regularly liaise with key client stakeholders, offering the wider portfolio of offerings with Data & AI and GenAI-driven insights to ensure client advocacy and satisfaction on delivered services.
  6. Ensure adherence to performance levels, proactively identifying new Data & AI and GenAI use cases and opportunities, becoming the real Advisor to the account.
  7. Contribute to the company's profitability by managing account profitability and performance targets.
  8. Act as a trusted advisor in Data & AI and GenAI, continuously growing customer accounts across targeted companies.
  9. Support clients in their Digital Transformation journey.
  10. Seek to win and close key and large Digital Transformation projects within the account, leveraging Data & AI and GenAI for significant growth.

Budgets and Plans

  1. Recommend the budget, and monitor financial performance, focusing on investments in Data & AI and GenAI solutions and their impact.

Strategy / Tactical

  1. Design short and long-range growth strategies for Data & AI and GenAI solutions, preparing execution plans to achieve targets.
  2. Design an ecosystem for our customers focusing on Data & AI and GenAI solutions, ensuring priority placement of our products.
  3. Continuous service improvement plan and improvement roadmap.

Operational Excellence

  1. Assist industry vertical leads in adapting to new technologies in Data & AI and GenAI, evolving business requirements.
  2. Monitor and synthesize market research in Data & AI and GenAI, applying insights to enhance client strategies.

People Development

  1. Provide coaching on Data & AI and GenAI, driving knowledge and understanding of their value in partnerships.
  2. Track individual KPIs, ensuring team members are proficient in Data & AI and GenAI solutions and sales strategies.

Continuous Improvement

  1. Motivate the team, identifying opportunities for AI and GenAI-driven change initiatives and projects.

Policies, Processes & Procedures

  1. Recommend improvements to policies, focusing on the integration and adoption of AI and GenAI strategies.

MIS & Reports

  1. Prepare MIS statements and reports, including data on AI and GenAI solution sales and impacts.

Related Assignments

  1. Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.

Communications & Working Relationships

  1. Internal: All employees and management, Digital Architects, Industry Vertical Leads, Product Teams.
  2. External: Vendors, Suppliers, Customers/Clients, Govt/Private sector decision-makers, primarily at C-Level.

Qualifications

Skills and attributes for success:

  1. 8 to 10 years of experience in IT Management, client experience executive roles, or similar, with a focus on AI and GenAI technologies.

To Qualify For The Role You Must Have

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Social Science, Business, or equivalent experience.
  2. 10+ years of relevant professional experience, with a strong emphasis on Data & AI, and GenAI solutions.
  3. ITIL v3 Practitioner or v4 Foundation preferred.

Ideally, You'll Also Have

  1. Bi-lingual (English/Arabic).
  2. Strong understanding of Data & AI, Data, and GenAI processes, technologies & industry best practices, e.g., Python, Databricks, Azure AI solutions/technologies.
  3. Strong stakeholder management skills.
  4. Strong analytical and quantitative thinking skills, particularly in Data & AI and GenAI contexts.
  5. Extensive experience in managing vendors & partners.
