Your Impact

As a Security Account Executive for SMB markets, you will drive and take accountability for the sales of Security technologies (focused on SaaS or SASE technologies). You will craft and grow channel relationships as well as direct touch with target accounts to drive revenue.

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Carrying a quota and territory that maps to a Cisco generalist territory.
  2. Providing support for and building relationships with Cisco counterparts (Account Managers, Sales Engineers, Regional Managers, etc.).
  3. Engaging with prospects that are generated by various lead-generation methods and overcoming objections from prospective customers.
  4. Identifying decision-makers within targeted accounts to begin the sales process.
  5. Demonstrating and presenting our security solutions via live web-based demos and in-person presentations.
  6. Building pipeline through individual prospecting & sales development collaboration.
  7. Traveling for prospect meetings and supporting marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events as necessary.
  8. Emphasizing product/service features and benefits, quoting prices, discussing terms, and preparing sales order forms and/or reports.
  9. Attending periodic sales training where applicable.
  10. Properly documenting and tracking all prospect & customer information in Salesforce.com.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • University or college degree.
  • Proven sales record of consistently meeting and exceeding quota with at least 2 years of experience selling software.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
  • Skilled in virtual presentations, online web demos, and remote sales processes.
  • Team-first mentality, driven by results with a relentless work ethic and ambition to achieve success.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • You have a strong all-around knowledge of the cybersecurity market and channel.
  • You have direct touch sales experience and the ability to scale through distribution and partners.
  • You have excellent social, communication, and presentation skills with experience presenting to technical as well as business stakeholders.
  • You have experience in applying solution-selling methodologies to improve corporate revenue growth.
  • You are passionate, resourceful, and take accountability for your business with a strong attention to detail and pride for your work.
