Security System Engineer - Arabic Speaker

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for all Security Systems operation maintenance work execution testing and handover to Clients. Ensure that all required infrastructure needs are available/ready and this cover: Networking, CCTV, ACS, IDS, and power requirements to ensure smooth operations of all systems on site.

KEY RESULTS AREAS (RESPONSIBILITIES):

1. Daily monitoring of fault logs & performing immediate fault identification.
2. Liaison with various stakeholders (Client IT, FM, AP Site Resources, MVP) to ensure fault rectification.
3. Fault root cause analysis & reporting.
4. Identification of recurring issues recommending remedial actions & ensuring that these are performed when doing PPMs or attending Callouts.
5. Completing records of all faults & PPMs and Callouts.
6. Ensuring that all existing systems are properly connected to the relevant Control Room / Security Office.
7. Maintaining all System SUPs ensuring that all firmware security patches etc. are applied.
8. Ensuring all configurations are uniformly applied across the portfolio to optimize system functionality.
9. Maintaining end-user password & security protocols as agreed with client.
10. Advise client of enhancements and additional functionality offered by new firmware upgrades.
11. Perform end-user refresher training if requested/required by the client.
12. Maintain and administer security systems networks and related computing environments including computer hardware systems, software applications, and all configurations.
13. Implement network security measures as per IT standards and procedures in order to protect data, software, and hardware.
14. Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of the entire systems and networks and to coordinate system network access and use.
15. Perform routine system network startup and shutdown procedures and maintain control records.
16. Monitor systems performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made and to identify future changes.
17. Maintain logs related to systems network functions and maintenance and repair records.
18. Keep communicating with technicians during PPMs and Callouts.
19. Manage technicians towards actual implementation at site and oversee the work of senior technicians, collecting daily progress reports sketched on the shop drawing issued to the Senior Technicians, also advising an alternative plan if any changes are found during work implementations.
20. Fully responsible for creating the test reports based on cabling terminations, power management, shop drawing updates based on site amendments and inspections.
21. Complete service reports for the current job, additional and variation work, and any troubleshooting on hardware and software.
22. Oversee emergency breakdowns rectification and intervention based on expertise of the system known to the ME.

Requirements:

EDUCATION:
Bachelor of Electrical & Electronics, Electronics and Telecommunications, or a general IT degree with Physics Background.

CERTIFICATION:
Cisco CCNA, CCNP, BCNE, CCTV (Milestone, Genetec, Axis etc.), ACS (LENEL, KERISYS, PAXTON etc.), Biometrics, Barriers, Bollards, Road blocker, Spike bumps, ANPR, video analytics etc.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
3 years where he/she is exposed to all security systems disciplines on total or turnaround projects.
