Security Supervisor

Summary:

The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the activities of the security shift which provides safety and protects all employees and Customer assets. Supervises processes to reduce and control loss time injuries. Reviews staffing levels to maintain full coverage of posts assigned to oversee. Delegates authority and assigns responsibilities. Investigates incidents and/or Customer complaints and compiles data for accurate reporting.

The role is in Abu Dhabi on a remote site.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise Security Guards on an assigned shift and be responsible for the proper execution of their assigned duties.
2. Conduct OJT for new Security Guards and support the continued development of Security Guards.
3. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Customer and Project policies and applicable laws.
4. Plan, assign, and direct work, appraise Security Guards performance, address complaints, and resolve problems.
5. Maintain a professional reputation and regular, consistent attendance record.
6. Knowledgeable of and adhere to all rules and regulations, policies, and orders.
7. Ensure that specialist security equipment is maintained, serviceable, and fit for purpose.
8. Interact with Customers and visitors in a professional manner.
9. Undertake tasks assigned by the Management Team as may be reasonably requested and within the competence of the Security Supervisor.

Qualifications:

1. High school education
2. IELTS Level 4 in each of reading, writing, speaking, and listening
3. PSBD
