We’re looking for a Security Operations Manager to join our Global Security team!

What you’ll do:

  • Lead all aspects of Global Security functions in the APAC & MENA region, serving as the primary point of contact for security-related matters.
  • Collaborate with Global Security management and cross-functional team managers to promote a safe workplace, including event security support.
  • Coordinate with leadership and partners such as HR, Finance, IT, and Legal to address security requirements and concerns.
  • Communicate significant developments to Global Security leadership and coordinate with our Global Security Operations Center for alarm response and crisis management.
  • Manage security vendor contracts including onsite guarding services and special event security.
  • Conduct security and safety training at assigned locations in alignment with Snap Security Awareness Training & Education team.
  • Develop physical security plans, security operation procedures, and emergency protocols for new projects.
  • Produce timely, well-written reports and metrics.
  • Establish relationships and act as the liaison with local emergency and law enforcement services.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication.
  • Familiarity with computers and security equipment, including monitoring systems.
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional schedules including holidays, nights, and weekends.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Basic experience with computer-based technologies.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school degree or GED or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years experience in military, law enforcement, or a security organization.
  • Vendor management experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 kgs for site security operations.
  • Ability to stay on your feet for extended periods for Incident Management.
  • Current CPR and Basic First Aid certification.
  • Active engagement in public/private partnership organizations.
  • Local security certifications required (e.g., BSIS, NYC).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in security, medical, emergency services, law enforcement, military, or customer service.
  • Language proficiency in Arabic and other regional languages is preferred.
