Job description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures to safeguard organizational assets and personnel.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies tailored to specific threats.
- Oversee the training and development of security staff, ensuring they are well-equipped to handle emergencies effectively.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services to ensure a coordinated response to security incidents.
- Monitor and analyze security systems and surveillance equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues or breaches.
- Conduct investigations into security incidents, compiling detailed reports and providing actionable insights for improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security trends, regulations, and technologies to enhance security measures continually.
- Manage security budgets, optimizing resources while ensuring the highest level of protection for the organization.
- Lead regular security audits and drills to assess the effectiveness of security protocols and readiness of personnel.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for security-related inquiries and incident reports, fostering a culture of safety across the organization.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in security management or a related field, with a proven track record.
- Professional certifications such as CPP (Certified Protection Professional) or CPO (Certified Protection Officer) are highly desirable.
- Experience in a high-security environment, such as corporate, government, or critical infrastructure sectors.
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage for diverse work environments.
- Strong technical skills in security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems, are crucial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a talent for motivating and managing teams under pressure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling effective risk assessment and incident response.
- Ability to maintain composure and make sound decisions in high-stress situations, demonstrating physical and mental resilience.
