Security Manager

Security manager will organize and oversee all security operations of our company. Security personnel will be under his command while develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain security standards.

As security manager, will have to demonstrate excellent surveillance and emergency response skills. He needs to have a strong commitment to security rules and knowledge of all hazards and threats to safety. He must also exhibit leadership skills.

The goal is to create and preserve an environment where employees, visitors and property are safe and well-protected.

Duties & Responsibility

• Develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures & ensuring it compliance with company policies and security industry regulations.
• Planning and implementing comprehensive security strategies.
• Preparing surveillance equipment maintenance schedules and facilitating repairs in a timely manner.
• Supervising, recruiting, and training security personnel.
• Developing work schedules, allocating tasks, and monitoring personnel performance.
• Conduct regular security inspections.
• Investigates security threats and breaches.
• Gathering security intelligence and implementing preventative measures.
• Coordinating responses to emergencies and alarms, as well as compiling incident reports.
• Review reports on incidents and breaches
• Investigate and resolve issues.
• Controlling the security operations budget, monitoring expenses, and documenting processes.
• Keeping abreast of new technologies and advancements in security services.
• Collaborating with department managers to determine security needs.
• Maintains utmost confidentiality and discretion.
• Create reports for management on security status.
• Analyse data to form proposals for improvements (e.g., implementation of new technology)
• Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events if any.

Qualification & Skills

• High school diploma: Further education in security administration or similar field will be an asset.
• State-prescribed security training, licensing, and registration.
• At least two years' experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience as security manager or similar position
• Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g., CCTV)
• Experience in reporting and emergency response planning
• Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
• Remains calm in fast-paced and stressful situations.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and is diligent.
• Works well independently and has strong project management skills.
• Solid understanding of budgeting and statistical data analysis
• Committed and reliable
• Extensive experience in preventing illegal activity and performing access control.
• In-depth knowledge of security procedures and surveillance equipment.
• Knowledge of security industry regulations.
• Advanced ability to coordinate responses to security breaches and threats.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Availability to respond to security alerts outside of business hours.
