Section Foreman – Joinery Factory (Multiple Specialties)

We are currently hiring Section Foremen across multiple divisions of our joinery factory, including:

• Metal Works
• Corian / Solid Surface
• Veneer Application
• Upholstery
• Solid Wood (Solids)
• Panel Cutting & Machining
• Painting & Finishing

As a Section Foreman, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of your production area, ensuring high standards of quality, precision, safety, and timely output. This is a hands-on role, ideal for individuals with strong technical experience and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily tasks for production workers and machine operators
• Read and interpret technical/shop drawings and ensure accurate execution
• Monitor quality at every production stage and carry out in-process inspections
• Allocate tasks efficiently and ensure project deadlines are met
• Train and guide junior staff in correct procedures, tool handling, and safety
• Communicate regularly with section supervisors on performance, issues, or delays
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with company standards
• Report material needs and contribute to process improvement

Specialized Skills (based on section):

• Metal Foreman: Welding, metal fabrication, layout interpretation
• Corian Foreman: Thermoforming, seamless jointing, polishing
• Veneer Foreman: Veneer pressing, grain matching, splicing
• Upholstery Foreman: Fabric cutting, foam application, furniture finishing
• Solids Foreman: Timber machining, joinery methods, traditional woodworking
• Panel Foreman: CNC operation, edge banding, panel saws
• Paint Foreman: PU/NC coatings, surface preparation, spray booth operation

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven hands-on experience in your respective specialty (minimum 5–7 years)
• Strong knowledge of tools, materials, machines, and finishing processes in joinery
• Ability to read and apply technical and fabrication drawings
• Team leadership and coordination skills
• Attention to detail, craftsmanship, and safety awareness
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Technical certification or equivalent work experience in a related discipline
