Job Description

Job Purpose:

To teach across Key Stage 3 (growing into Key Stage 4 and 5) as a subject specialist enabling an outstanding, holistic, and dynamic experience for our students which lead to exceptionally high outcomes.

Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

1. Be committed to the pursuit of excellence for all
2. Demonstrate very strong subject knowledge across Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 of the NCfE
3. Deliver consistently outstanding teaching and learning experiences; collaborating and sharing best practice.
4. Use student data to optimise progress and personalise learning

6. Be creative and enthusiastic in approach to teaching
7. Be committed to the safeguarding of, and the personal and social development of students
8. Work effectively with colleagues, students and parents using excellent interpersonal skills

10. Make a positive contribution to our school community and culture through active engagement in our extra-curricular programme and community-based events
11. Actively pursue your own professional development as a teacher.
12. To carry out any other reasonable duties as directed by the CEO and Principal.

Skills

1. A bachelor’s degree in Maths or related field is essential
2. A PGCE with QTS is essential
3. Proven experience of the subject across Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 of the NCfE
