Secondary English Teacher

Position: Secondary School English Teacher
Location: Kalba, Sharjah, UAE
Salary: AED 10,000 – 16,000 per month (depending on experience)
Curriculum: Australian Curriculum (PYP experience preferred)
Start Date: August 25, 2024
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Middle School English Teacher to join a leading international school in Kalba, Sharjah. The school is dedicated to providing a supportive and dynamic environment where students thrive academically, socially, and creatively.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Teach engaging English lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum to middle school students.
2. Foster critical thinking, creativity, and a love for literature and language.
3. Develop and deliver lessons that cater to diverse student abilities and learning styles.
4. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
5. Contribute to a positive school culture by collaborating with staff, parents, and the wider community.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field with a teaching qualification.
2. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the middle school level.
3. Experience with the Australian Curriculum is preferred; PYP experience is advantageous.
4. Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
5. A passion for teaching and inspiring young learners to achieve their potential.
