Secondary English Teacher

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

1. Be a qualified Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 English Teacher with appropriate teaching qualification (i.e. B.Ed. and/or PGCE).
2. For this specific role, we are looking for someone with confidence and a proven track record of outstanding results, teaching English Language and Literature to GCSE and A Level using the Edexcel specification.
3. Understand the Curriculum for England and Wales and its associated assessment practices.
4. Possess a strong focus on the pastoral care of children, understanding the balance between academic and social progress and support, as well as the ability to identify safeguarding concerns.
5. Possess excellent interpersonal skills and a positive approach to both individual and collaborative professional development.
6. Be available to join Jebel Ali School in August 2025.
