Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Second Mate for a contract position in El-Fujairah, UAE. This position is suitable for an Egyptian national and does not require English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

1. Navigating and operating the vessel.
2. Assisting the Captain in the daily operations of the vessel.
3. Managing crew members and cargo.
4. Ensuring safety of personnel and cargo.
5. Maintaining all records as required by law.
6. Monitoring engine performance and making adjustments to ensure optimum results.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role on board a merchant vessel. They should also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. This position includes accommodation and a visa sponsored by the employer. Due to safety regulations, this position is open exclusively to male candidates.
