Job Description

GEMS Metropole School Al Waha is seeking a dedicated and qualified School Doctor to join our team. The School Doctor will play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of students and staff, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide first aid and emergency medical care to students and staff.
2. Conduct regular health assessments and screenings in line with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) regulations.
3. Manage vaccination programs and monitor for infectious diseases.
4. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for all students.
5. Educate the school community on health, hygiene, and preventive care.
6. Liaise with parents, staff, and healthcare professionals regarding student health concerns.
7. Ensure compliance with all DHA health and safety standards.
8. Support the development and implementation of health-related policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Degree in Medicine (MBBS) or equivalent.
2. Valid DHA license or eligibility to practice as a doctor in Dubai.
3. Experience in pediatric care or school health is an advantage.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Ability to work in a multicultural and collaborative environment.
6. Knowledge of mental health and child well-being is a plus.
