Role - SAP TRM Associate Managing Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP Managing Consultant specializing in Tax and Revenue Management (TRM) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in SAP implementations, with a deep understanding of SAP TRM modules, solutions, and integration with government tax and revenue systems. You will play a strategic role in managing and delivering complex TRM projects while providing thought leadership to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP TRM solutions.
  • Map business processes to SAP functionalities, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
  • Oversee integration with SAP FI-CA, BRIM, PSCD, and external tax systems.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication and relationship management.
  • Identify opportunities for expanding SAP TRM solutions to address evolving business needs.
  • Lead and mentor a team of consultants, fostering skill development and ensuring high-quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Stay updated with the latest SAP innovations, industry trends, and best practices in TRM.
  • Contribute to the development of TRM methodologies, accelerators, and tools.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field with 8 to 10 years of experience in SAP TRM implementation or support projects.
  • At least four full life cycle SAP TRM implementations from Blueprint / Explore through Go-Live.
  • Strong expertise in SAP modules such as FI-CA, PSCD, and integration with CRM or BRIM.
  • Proven track record of delivering SAP TRM projects in a leadership capacity.
  • Hands-on experience in configuring SAP TRM, FI-CA, PSCD, and Revenue Accounting solutions.
  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Public Sector is highly desirable.
  • SAP Certification in TRM, FI-CA, or S/4HANA Public Sector.
  • Experience in tax and revenue systems for government agencies.
  • Familiarity with global tax regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Understand consulting “soft” skills necessary on engagements, as well as with team collaborative initiatives.
  • Ability to interpret requirements and apply SAP best practices.
  • Develop new professional peer relationships for additional business or possible new consultants.
  • Help develop overall marketing messages.
  • Communicate project resource requirements to staffing coordinator/clients.
  • Ensure quality implementation (works with QA program).

Leadership Skills

  • Seek ways to increase the project team effectiveness.
  • May act as a mentor for the team.
  • Work well as a leader of the entire team (motivate team).
