SAP IS-OIL Consultant

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced SAP IS-Oil Consultant to join a high-impact project with one of the leading oil companies in the UAE. This role involves spearheading the implementation of SAP IS-Oil solutions, ensuring seamless integration with business operations, and optimizing processes for enhanced efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry expertise, technical proficiency, and a strategic mindset to drive success in this mission-critical implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the full lifecycle implementation of SAP IS-Oil modules, ensuring alignment with business processes and industry best practices.
2. Conduct detailed business requirement gathering, analyze current processes, and recommend SAP IS-Oil solutions to enhance efficiency and performance.
3. Design and develop customized SAP IS-Oil solutions, leveraging best practices to optimize business operations within the oil and gas industry.
4. Configure and customize SAP IS-Oil modules, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP systems such as MM, SD, FICO, and PM.
5. Conduct comprehensive functional and technical testing, including system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure seamless deployment.
6. Provide subject matter expertise on SAP IS-Oil functionalities, including Hydrocarbon Product Management (HPM), Tariffs and Pricing, Exchanges, and Supply Chain Optimization.
7. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into SAP IS-Oil solutions.
8. Work closely with the technical team to design and develop custom enhancements when necessary.
9. Lead end-user training sessions and documentation development to facilitate knowledge transfer and adoption of SAP solutions.
10. Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting issues, and driving continuous improvements.
11. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security best practices.
12. Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, offering strategic recommendations for SAP IS-Oil enhancements and business process improvements.

Required Expertise & Skills:

1. 15+ years of SAP experience, with a strong focus on SAP IS-Oil solutions.
2. Proven track record of at least 3 full-cycle SAP IS-Oil implementations in large-scale enterprises, preferably within the oil and gas sector.
3. Deep expertise in SAP IS-Oil functionalities, including:
4. Hydrocarbon Product Management (HPM)
5. Exchanges and Secondary Distribution
6. Tariffs and Pricing
7. Supply Chain Management
8. Downstream Logistics
9. Contract and Shipment Management
10. Strong knowledge of SAP modules that integrate with IS-Oil, such as SAP MM, SD, FICO, and PM.
11. Experience in working with SAP S/4HANA is highly preferred.
12. Ability to perform gap analysis, business process mapping, and solution design tailored to the oil and gas industry.
13. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
14. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership abilities.
15. Prior experience working in the Middle East, particularly in the UAE, is a plus.
