SAP Consultant (CO)

The CO Consultant is responsible for delivering management reporting solutions that align with business goals. They translate business requirements into SAP S/4HANA configurations for controlling processes and ensure the solution's fitness for use.

Skilled in cost tracking, budgeting, internal orders, and profitability analysis, with a strong understanding of integrating SAP CO with other financial modules such as SAP FI, MM, and SD. Adept at designing solutions that improve financial reporting, optimize cost control, and enhance decision-making. Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business processes and SAP configurations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead SAP CO module implementations, including configuration of internal orders, cost centres, and profitability analysis (CO-PA) to support financial reporting and decision-making.
• Configure and optimize cost element accounting, cost centres, and profit centres, ensuring alignment with business needs and financial control requirements.
• Integrate SAP CO with other modules like SAP FI, MM, and SD to ensure seamless flow of data for cost allocation, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
• Implement budgeting and cost planning processes within SAP CO to enhance cost control and forecasting accuracy.
• Provide expertise in activity-based costing (ABC) and cost allocation methods to improve transparency in cost management.
• Design and deliver financial reports in SAP Fiori, providing real-time insights into cost performance, profitability, and financial health.
• Support the finance team with month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
• Expert Knowledge in Product Costing and Material ledger implementation solutions for Manufacturing Industry.

Skillset Required:

• 15+ years SAP experience, with expertise in Controlling (CO).
• Experience in Manufacturing, life sciences or regulated industries preferred.
• Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori.
• Fluent in English; German/French is a plus.
