Strong understanding of Automation, Controls, Instrumentation, and Electrical systems.
Previous experience in sales of Industrial Automation and Controls.
Should have a good understanding of generating system architecture & control solutions from client specifications.
Liaising and building relationships with a range of stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and consultants.
Understanding of the Project sales environment and elements leading to closure of orders with the technical ability to discuss projects and systems with all contacts within the sales cycle.
Identifying suitable project/inquiry opportunities, understanding key aspects of technical specifications, leading internal discussions, and aiding the proposals group in preparation of quotations.
Carrying out market research and customer surveys to assess demand, brand positioning, and awareness.
Monitoring competitor activity and analyzing pricing positions.
