We are the team that is responsible for customer account development enabling us to sell various services offered by the organization. Although our primary responsibility is to drive sales for the Retail Index portfolio, as a generalist sales team, we are also responsible for opening commercial discussions for all other verticals led by the specialist sales team.

Given the target group are established customers, the best route to market is via a consultative selling approach, guiding the customers on how different NIQ tools can be beneficial against their business priorities.

This position is responsible for supporting the account development team of the Global 60 clients group. The key roles of this recruit will be to support the sales team with pre and post-sales activities. Additionally, the recruit will need to learn NIQ solutions and support the team in building and maintaining client relationships with relevant stakeholders.

JOB PURPOSE

Support the G60 commercial team in pre and post-sales activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Support the commercial team in pipeline management and maintenance, pre and post-sales finance processes.
  2. Support the team with Power BI analysis, reports, and MS Dynamics (CRM) updates.
  3. Develop various reports and presentations to showcase analysis on team KPIs for sales.
  4. Learn NIQ solutions and create material for sales pitches.
  5. Liase with client stakeholders for documentation and payments of invoices.
  6. Summarize data in tables, charts, graphs, and presentations.
  7. Learn NIQ proprietary tools such as Discover.
  8. Manage the client stakeholders along with internal stakeholders such as commercial, customer success, report center, finance, etc.

Highly motivated and self-driven, with a proactive approach and a strong ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environments.

Meticulous attention to detail, with a proven commitment to ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.

Capable of managing multiple projects/responsibilities at once while prioritizing tasks effectively.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.

Resourceful and curious with an eagerness to learn.

Qualifications

  1. University degree in Business, Marketing & Sales, or related field; postgraduate preferred.
  2. Professional experience in customer-focused, sales, or sales support roles.
  3. Knowledge of using Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  4. Strong analytical mind and excellent mathematical aptitude.
  5. Strong and articulate communication and visualization skills – interested in storytelling techniques and can build strong professional relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  6. Comfortable working in a digital-enabled environment.
  7. Fluent in spoken and written English.
