PRIMARY PURPOSE

The Real Estate Consultant is a vital role within a real estate company, responsible for generating leads, building client relationships, and closing sales transactions. Sales Agents play a key role in driving revenue growth and expanding the customer base. They work closely with clients, understand their needs, and provide professional guidance throughout the sales process.

To facilitate the buying and selling of properties for clients, guiding them through the real estate transaction process, providing expertise on local markets, negotiating deals, and ensuring a successful and satisfying real estate experience for both buyers and sellers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their real estate needs, preferences, and goals.
  2. Determine accurate property valuations through market analysis and evaluation of property condition.
  3. Create compelling property listings that effectively highlight features and attract potential buyers.
  4. Assist buyers in identifying suitable properties, arranging showings, and guiding them through the purchasing process.
  5. Represent sellers by marketing their properties, coordinating showings, and negotiating offers.
  6. Stay updated on market trends, property values, and local real estate developments to provide clients with informed advice.
  7. Manage and oversee all aspects of real estate transactions, from contract to closing.
  8. Generate leads through various channels, including networking, referrals, online platforms, and marketing campaigns.
  9. Contact and engage potential clients, conduct property showings, and provide detailed information about available properties.
  10. Build and maintain relationships with clients, understand their requirements, and offer suitable property options.
  11. Guide clients through the sales process, including negotiations, preparing purchase agreements, and ensuring smooth transactions.
  12. Stay updated on market trends, property values, and competitor activities to provide accurate and valuable information to clients.
  13. Build and maintain a strong network of industry professionals, including mortgage brokers, home inspectors, and other real estate service providers.
  14. Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop and implement effective sales strategies and achieve sales targets.
  15. Maintain a strong knowledge of available properties, including their features, pricing, and legal requirements.
  16. Use CRM systems and sales tools to track and manage leads, follow-ups, and sales activities.
  17. Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries, concerns, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  18. Keep accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions.
  19. Takes Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) lead in ensuring “safe systems of work” and “safe conditions” are in place within area of responsibility.
  20. Performs other similar or related duties as required or assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Educational Requirements / Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, or a related field.

Experience:

1-2 years of experience in sales or customer service roles.

Previous experience in sales, preferably in the real estate industry, is beneficial but not always mandatory. New entrants to the industry can also be considered.

Knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and market dynamics is beneficial.

Familiarity with CRM systems, sales tools, and technology used in real estate sales is a plus.

  1. Lead Generation:
    • Number of leads generated through various channels.
    • Percentage increase in lead generation compared to previous periods.
  2. Client Engagement:
    • Number of potential clients contacted and engaged.
    • Number of property showings conducted.
    • Percentage of engaged clients who receive detailed property information.
  3. Client Relationship Management:
    • Number of active client relationships maintained.
    • Client satisfaction ratings through feedback or surveys.
    • Percentage of repeat business or referrals from previous clients.
  4. Sales Process Success:
    • Percentage of clients guided successfully through the entire sales process.
    • Percentage of successful negotiations leading to signed purchase agreements.
  5. Market Knowledge:
    • Frequency of market trend updates provided to clients.
    • Accuracy of property value estimates based on market trends.
    • Frequency of competitor analysis and insights shared with clients.
  6. Sales Targets:
    • Achievement of sales targets.
    • Comparison of achieved sales against set targets, presented as a percentage.
  7. Sales Strategies:
    • Participation in the development and implementation of effective sales strategies.
    • Effectiveness of sales strategies in achieving sales goals.
  8. Product Knowledge:
    • Mastery of property features, pricing, and legal requirements for available properties.
    • Consistency in providing accurate and relevant property information to clients.
  9. CRM Utilization:
    • Consistent usage of CRM systems and sales tools to track and manage leads, follow-ups, and sales activities.
    • Accuracy of data input and regular updates in CRM systems.
  10. Customer Service:
    • Response time to client inquiries or concerns.
    • Resolution time for client issues.
    • Client feedback ratings for customer service interactions.
  11. Sales Records:
    • Accuracy and completeness of records maintained for sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions.
