Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Operations Executive to join our dynamic Commercial Operations team. The Sales Operations Executive will play a crucial role in optimizing our sales processes, enhancing efficiency, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of analytical prowess, operational efficiency, and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and own the regular cadences for Commercial Ops processes on a monthly basis, including sales reporting, contract management, CRM updates, and maintaining data hygiene.
- Support the sales team with general commercial operations tasks to help achieve objectives efficiently.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of sales transactions and activities.
- Serve as the key point of contact for sales-related inquiries and coordinate communication between sales, marketing, and other internal teams.
- Maintain and update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Ensure that pricing and contract details are correctly aligned across key systems and reports.
- Assist in collecting and organizing data to enhance sales productivity and effectiveness.
- Evaluate existing sales processes and identify opportunities for streamlining and efficiency improvement.
- Develop and maintain SOPs to ensure compliance with processes.
- Monitor day-to-day sales operations and track performance, recommending actionable improvements where necessary.
- Support the Commercial Operations Manager and Department Head in ensuring sales-related best practices are followed.
- Ensure group-wide quality control (QC) measures for commercial teams are adhered to.
- Support attainment planning by assisting with goal setting, sales incentives, and territory analysis.
Desired Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent 2+ years extensive experience in a commercial / sales operations role.
- High accuracy and attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
- Highly competent in using Google Suite (Sheets), Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM systems like Salesforce.
- Self-motivated with high ownership and accountability, and the ability to prioritize their own workload and have a transformational mindset.
- Highly organised with the ability to multi-task.
- A background in tech companies is beneficial.
