Job Description
Position Title: Sales Executive (Freight Forwarding)
Industry/Organization Type: Logistics/ Freight Forwarding
Location: Dubai
Working Hours: 5 days (Mon-Fri, 8:15 AM-6 PM)
Salary Package: Basic Salary + Phone Allowance + Comm + AWS + Variable Bonus
Duration: Permanent Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and prospect new business/clients via cold-calling and sales activities.
- Build and develop strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to encourage up-selling and retention.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in handling air or sea freight
Qualifications: Bachelor degree
Desired Skills:
- Must have his/her own book of business.
- Performance in import business from Europe, USA and India.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking and referrals.
- Utilize inside sales knowledge.
- Quote formal and spot bids.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction- maintain close contact with all customers– including follow up on concerns or other issues.
- Communicate customer problems to management.
- Exceed all standards for prospecting calls, presentations, proposals and closes.
- Provide documented activity reports of your sales efforts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Execute and monitor strategic and tactical goals to maximize sales, profit and to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
Experience Requirements:
- 2+ Years of experience in Shipping industry
