Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

I'm currently supporting an amazing restaurant group in Abu Dhabi with their search for a Sales Manager.

The group has an impressive portfolio of venues across the UAE, specializing predominantly in Middle Eastern cuisine.

This will be more of an IC role, and you'll be reporting directly to the Managing Director and/or COO.

Although the group has a hugely successful restaurant business, they also provide a frozen food offering (think kibbehs, samosas, vine leaves, etc.). This person will be tasked with selling these items into supermarkets, hotels, etc., so it's pivotal that this person is based in the UAE already and comes with their own blackbook of contacts and a strong professional network.

Candidates must have a valid driving license, and Arabic speaking is certainly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets.
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures a strong presence.
  • Own recruiting, objective setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
