Responsibilities
The Sales Manager for the Middle East region supports the business to achieve educational outcomes and commercial growth. Responsibilities include understanding the educational and commercial objectives of schools & groups within the region, setting and monitoring commercial targets, evaluating the impact of strategies, driving revenue growth through customer relationships, developing training programs, fostering a culture that values education for commercial growth, reporting on achievements, and managing a portfolio of schools and distributors. The expectation is that the Sales Manager will lead in school relations, being in-market daily & ensuring that TTS is at the forefront of the mind of all key schools & groups. Relationship building is essential, as is the ability to close annual order business deals through strategic thinking & strong account management.
Main Responsibilities
- Reporting and Portfolio Management: Managing a portfolio of schools, building relationships that can make a difference & closing annual orders for the benefit of TTS.
- Strategy Alignment: Understand and meet educational and commercial goals. Ensure we are partnering with the right partners, and that our go-to-market strategy is aligned with business goals.
- Setting and Monitoring Commercial Targets: Establishing and tracking financial goals in line with educational partnerships.
- Evaluating Impact of Strategies: Assessing the effectiveness of implemented strategies on education and commerce.
- Developing Customer Partnership Programs: Creating programs that integrate educational value with commercial success.
- Cultural Development: Cultivating a culture that values education as a driver for commercial growth.
Experience
You will have proven experience of:
- Successful sales & business development experience in the Education sector within the Middle East region.
- Experience in achieving financial targets in an education-focused business environment.
- Strategic planning and motivational skills.
- Proficiency in the education sector, particularly in curriculum-aligned resource planning and sales.
You will be responsible for:
- Circa 150 accounts and agreements.
- A market that covers 2,000 schools and nursery settings.
