Gulf Sales Manager, Reuters Professional

Location: Dubai, UAE

We are looking for a Sales Manager to expand our footprint into the Gulf region by selling event sponsorships, custom branded content, and digital media solutions.

In this role, you'll sell across Reuters' extensive award-winning platforms (including digital display, native, mobile, video, account-based marketing, custom content, and event sales) and work with clients in the Gulf regional government, energy, finance, and technology sectors. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, manage, and expand Reuters Professional's client base in these sectors, requiring a skilled approach to both business development and sales.

About The Role

As Gulf Sales Manager, you will:

  1. Be consultative with clients, matching appropriate solutions to their business development, thought-leadership, lead-generation, and client engagement objectives.
  2. Stay updated with industry trends and current affairs.
  3. Collaborate with media planning and global conference production teams to maximize success at conferences and events.
  4. Conduct a high volume of meetings with prospective agency/client stakeholders.
  5. Work with the research team to present insights that highlight Reuters' strengths.
  6. Develop proposals that align advertisers' strategies with our offerings.
  7. Win business across new and emerging platforms.
  8. Report to the Head of EMEA & APAC and develop quarterly plans for target accounts.
  9. Maintain visibility at industry events and build strong client relationships.

About You

As Gulf Sales Manager, you will likely have:

  1. Demonstrable experience in selling multimedia, custom content solutions, and/or events to international clients.
  2. A passion for news and journalism.
  3. Existing relationships across the Gulf, especially with government bodies.
  4. Proven success in selling large value deals to clients.
  5. Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  6. A collaborative attitude and ability to work in a team-based environment.
  7. A desire to progress and develop skills further.
  8. Strong understanding of the online advertising market.
  9. Self-motivation and capability to deliver on goals with minimal supervision.
