Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Meet the sales objectives on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
  2. Solicit groups and banquet business through action plan preparation and execution.
  3. Establish quotes based on group pricing strategy confirmed by written contracts.
  4. Manage RFP inquiries through Lanyon, Cvent, and Meeting Broker platforms.
  5. Maintain accounts contact activity and business details within Anais.
  6. Work closely with the Catering & Conference Service Department to ensure all details of the contract are delivered and guests depart satisfied.
  7. Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as required.
  8. Balance operational, administrative, and heartist needs.
  9. Follow departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  1. Previous hotel experience is required.
  2. Hotel sales experience and established contacts with government entities and local and global DMCs & corporate accounts required.
  3. Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications and/or relevant computer applications required.
  4. University/College degree in a related discipline preferred.
  5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, required.
  6. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  7. Highly accountable and reliable.
  8. Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
