Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Respond to all inquiries within 24 hours.
  2. Set up appointments and make personal sales calls, telemarketing, and site inspections to all existing and potential accounts.
  3. Entertain decision makers of accounts in the F&B outlets of the hotel and participate in promotional activities with them.
  4. Follow up on lost business and inform the department superior.
  5. Negotiate with customers and send out offers/contracts regarding individual and group business.
  6. Contribute to following the conversion ratio of the Group Department.
  7. Be aware of all market trends and share insights with the team for collective action.
  8. Plan and arrange business trips to expand market awareness of the brand in key source markets.
  9. Attend international fairs and roadshows, maintaining and building strong relations during these events.
  10. Consistently interact with key clients, focusing on high-profile guests.
  11. Maintain an efficient customer database system (OPERA) to generate sales activity reports.
  12. Update customers with the latest developments in the hotel and inform management of all changes in customer profiles.
  13. Seek out and target new customers, new sales opportunities, and initiate action plans to secure new business for the hotel.
  14. Assist the Credit Department in following up on outstanding balances of accounts in a timely manner.
  15. Come prepared for weekly Sales and Revenue meetings.
  16. Build and maintain good relations with all Accor Regional and Global Sales Offices.
  17. Be aware of all fire, health, safety, emergency, and security procedures in the hotel.
  18. Keep the Director of Sales promptly and fully informed of all problems or concerns for timely corrective action.
  19. Adhere to the Department and Hotel's standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  20. Ensure strict confidentiality of information in the Department and Hotel.
  21. Carry out duties, projects, and other assignments as required by the Director of Sales.
