Sales Manager - Freight Forwarding

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager for our Freight Forwarding division in the Gulf region. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sales within the logistics industry, with a proven ability to develop strategies that drive revenue growth and build lasting client relationships. The Sales Manager will lead a team of sales professionals, ensuring they meet their targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets in the freight forwarding sector
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners in the Gulf region
• Identify new business opportunities and market trends to enhance sales growth
• Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives to maximize performance
• Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses to senior management
• Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure customer satisfaction and service delivery
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 6-15 years of experience in sales, with a focus on freight forwarding or logistics
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• In-depth knowledge of freight forwarding processes, customs regulations, and logistics operations in the Gulf region
• Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
