Job Title: Sales Manager Freight Forwarding/Warehousing/Contract Logistics

(Exp 10-20 years)

Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving team growth, managing a team of 35 members, and driving sales growth in the freight forwarding, warehousing, and contract logistics sectors in the UAE and KSA regions.

This role's primary purpose is to add NEW logos (bringing new customers/companies) to the company's customer list in UAE/KSA.

This is an outdoor client management role that is measured on:

  • Monthly Revenue generation from NEW clients
  • Monthly GP/Profit Generation
  • Prospecting, visiting, and landing NEW business (import/export, cross trade, warehouse)
  • Weekly Sales Plan & CRM updates
  • Collection of overdues from credit clients, if applicable

This role is not limited to any geography in the UAE and requires a valid UAE driving license.

Responsibilities:

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting prospecting/cold calling a client list within one or more of the above verticals.
  • Developing or landing clients from a transactional relationship to a strategic alliance that maps key stakeholders' end-to-end logistics needs, including airlines, sea freight, and land freight.
  • Promoting the brand and advocating for our services within the logistics space, particularly regarding our warehousing and freight forwarding services.
  • Getting close to your customer base, helping them grow within the sector by identifying new market trends and opportunities for service expansion.
  • Driving team growth by setting clear goals, providing guidance, and supporting team members in achieving their targets.
  • Managing a team of 35 sales executives, ensuring they are motivated, trained, and aligned with the company's objectives.
