Job description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager/BD to join our Tent & Structures Department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in temporary structures and tents, coupled with a proven track record in sales and project delivery. This role will involve driving business growth, managing client relationships, and ensuring successful execution of projects in the competitive event services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the tent and structures division.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients in the UAE and GCC region.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and quotations tailored to client requirements.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.

Technical Expertise & Solution Design

  • Leverage technical knowledge of tents, temporary structures, and modular solutions to provide accurate consultations and customized solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to design and recommend optimal structure layouts for various events.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, innovations, and compliance standards in the region.

Project Delivery & Client Management

  • Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring high-quality execution within deadlines and budgets.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing any issues and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless operations, from logistics to installation and dismantling.

Team & Collaboration

  • Work closely with other departments (e.g., marketing, operations) to ensure alignment on business objectives.
  • Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth.

Requirements:

Experience

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in business development or sales within the events, tents, or structures industry.
  • Proven experience in delivering large-scale temporary structure projects in the UAE or GCC region.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong technical understanding of temporary structures, including tents, modular units, and related materials.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with local regulatory and safety requirements for temporary structures in the region.

Education

  • Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if supplemented by strong industry experience.
