As the company continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager with luxury segment expertise to join the team.
Scope:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven sales representative to develop and expand sales from the Middle Eastern market including, but not limited to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain. This individual will play a crucial role in promoting our luxury travel destinations to key travel partners and clients, attending trade fairs and events, and building strategic relationships that drive business growth. This position will report to the Global Sales Director and work closely with various departments including reservations and marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnership Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities and strategic partnerships with Middle Eastern-based luxury travel agencies, concierge companies, family offices and travel consortia.
- Market Development: Drive sales from the Middle East market, identifying and developing relationships with key travel partners, tour operators, and agencies interested in our destinations.
- Event Participation: Attend trade fairs, industry events, and client meetings to promote our luxury destinations and services.
- Relationship Building: Nurture and maintain relationships with travel partners, ensuring strong and sustainable business connections.
- Competitive Analysis: Continuously analyze competitors and market trends to ensure our services and strategies remain competitive and innovative.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the reservation team to ensure seamless booking processes and superior customer experiences.
- Market Promotion: Actively promote our destinations, products, and unique selling points (USPs) in the market.
- Product Knowledge: Gain a deep understanding of the destinations, products, and services we offer, along with our competitive advantages.
- Strategic Collaboration: Liaise with the marketing department to develop and implement tailored marketing strategies and campaigns focused on the market.
- Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Provide regular sales reports, track performance metrics, and offer sales forecasts to inform business strategy.
- Client Experience Enhancement: Focus on delivering exceptional client experiences by understanding their needs and offering personalized travel solutions.
- Technology Utilization: Leverage sales and CRM tools to track customer interactions, manage sales pipelines, and ensure efficient communication with key stakeholders.
- Revenue Optimization: Work with the finance team to monitor pricing strategies and ensure profitability in the market.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in sales, ideally within the luxury travel or destination management sector.
- Strong network of contacts within the Middle East travel industry, including tour operators, travel agents, and industry partners.
- Experience attending trade fairs and industry events.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to assess market trends and competition.
- Highly self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
- Ability to travel regularly for events and meetings.
- Familiarity with the Middle East luxury travel market and an understanding of high-end client expectations.
