Job Title: Sales Manager Leisure

Department: Sales & Marketing

Reports To: Director of Sales / Director of Sales & Marketing

Job Summary:

The Sales Manager Leisure is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, OTAs, and DMCs to generate leisure business for the hotel. This role involves achieving revenue targets through proactive sales efforts, account management, and market penetration strategies to grow the hotel's leisure segment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to attract leisure clientele (FITs, groups, and packages).
  2. Identify, solicit, and secure new leisure accounts through active sales calls, roadshows, and trade shows.
  3. Manage relationships with key accounts, travel agencies, and tour operators to ensure repeat business.
  4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitor hotels and market trends to identify business opportunities.
  5. Collaborate with Revenue Management and Marketing teams to develop attractive packages and promotions.
  6. Ensure proper use of CRM and maintain accurate client records and sales activities.
  7. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to clients and partners.
  8. Negotiate rates and contracts in line with hotel pricing policies.
  9. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  10. Represent the hotel at leisure travel trade fairs and industry networking events.
  11. Prepare sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
  12. Work closely with the Reservations and Front Office teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  2. 3-5 years of experience in hotel sales, with a focus on leisure segment.
  3. Strong network of contacts within the leisure travel sector (travel agents, OTAs, DMCs, etc.).
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  5. Self-motivated, target-driven, and highly organized.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office and sales-related software (e.g., Opera, Delphi, Salesforce).
  7. Flexibility to travel as needed for client meetings and trade events.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in a luxury or upscale hotel environment.
  2. Multilingual abilities are a plus.
  3. Familiarity with inbound and outbound travel markets.
