Auto Upholstery Manager
Looking for someone to lead a tiny group. He/she needs to be competent in the inside of automotive vehicles, airplanes, as well as home furnishings. Collaborating with a selection of materials, they make, construct, repair, or refurbish. This position entails on-the-job training to become skillful. Your skills should include mathematics, reading comprehension, design, blueprint skills, analytical abilities, and other capabilities beneficial in the automotive upholstery market. The candidate should be able to plan, perform, train the team, and manage the daily business.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Using power and hand tools, apply and install batting, foam, poly-filler, and cut fabric to the wood structure in the assembly of handmade furnishings.
2. Attach coatings, including buttons, trim, tassels, and other decorative accessories, to complete orders according to specifications.
3. Measure and cut textile or leather pieces with the help of patterns or stencils and commercial cutting tools to accurate dimensions.
4. Read job orders and maintain a database of production status for communication with outside clients and internal sales managers.
5. Evaluate structures for defects and make repairs as needed before furniture application and other finishing work.
6. Operate mobile hand-sewing machines, nail guns, hobnail and tack hammers, hot-knife cutters, and other industrial equipment.
7. Identify material supply and place orders with fabric partners, providing status updates about fabric availability to customers and managers.
8. Discuss issues or production line slowdowns with managers and brainstorm solutions for increased productivity.
9. Previous experience with furniture or upholstery production.
10. Work with interior designers to coordinate materials, furnishings, patterns, and colors.
11. Attach bolts, clasps, trim, and accessories to vehicle furnishings.
12. Repair carpets, curtains, and window shades for all types of vehicles (land, sea, and air).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract.
Contract length: 24 months.
Salary: AED 5,000.00 - AED 7,000.00 each month.
COVID-19 considerations: Standard Covid Protocols.
Experience: expertise in upholstery market (air, land, and sea): 2 years (Required).
