Sales Manager

Our client is a pioneering organization in the Oil & Gas industry, with a strong presence in Abu Dhabi and the wider region, offering extensive trading services and support to diverse sectors such as Maritime, Construction, and Oil & Gas.

We're looking for a Sales Manager for Abu Dhabi and Sharjah Location.

Experience: 10-15 years
Industry: Energy & Mining, Mining & Metals, Oil & Energy.

This company deals with B2B trading of heavy equipment products.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain orders by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales customers to ensure achievement of sales targets set by the company/Manager.
• Ensure that the company's sales targets are understood and met.
• Focus on sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of orders.
• Submit orders by referring to price and product list.
• Keep management informed of sales and target progress by submitting activity and results reports, weekly and monthly plans.
• Gather current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques and share this information with the rest of the sales team.
• Recommend changes in the products and services by evaluating the results and competitive developments.
• Assist other Sales Representatives with technical questions as needed.
• Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems and providing solutions.
• Maintain records of area and customer sales in hard and soft copy using the ERP system. Enter all data and information relating to purchase and inventory into the ERP system.
• Work hand in hand with the storekeeper to ensure that all physical stock matches the system and that no stock is misused or misplaced. Keep records of all inventory transactions and stock levels.
• Receive internal requisitions for materials as per customer purchase orders and requests from the inspection department for equipment and tools.
• Verify the present stock level and availability with the existing supplier.
• Assist the branch manager in preparing the approved supplier list.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Operations Manager from time to time.
