Sales Manager

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Develop a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues
2. Set individual sales targets with sales team
3. Delegate responsibility for customer accounts to sales personnel
4. Co-ordinate sales action plans for individual salespeople
5. Oversee the activities and performance of the sales team
6. Ensure sales team have the necessary resources to perform properly
7. Monitor the achievement of sales objectives by the sales team
8. Liaise with other company functions to ensure achievement of sales objectives
9. Evaluate performance of sales staff
10. Provide feedback, support and coaching to the sales team
11. Plan and direct sales team training
12. Assist with the development of sales presentations and proposals
13. Control expenses and monitor budgets
14. Maintain inventory control
15. Conduct market research and competitor and customer analysis
16. Analyze data to identify sales opportunities
17. Develop promotional ideas and material

Requirements:

1. BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field
2. Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
3. Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
4. Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
5. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
6. Strong business sense and industry expertise
7. Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
8. Very good English & computer skills
9. Good knowledge of retail management best practices
10. At least 12 – 15 years of experience in fashion retail management or fashion sales management
