This position reports to

ELIP M&S Ldr. Middle East India & Africa

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop an effective sales strategy within the specified market scope and maintain it, to improve ABB’s market penetration and realize growth aspirations. Each day, you will define, plan, lead, and ensure the execution of sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products, systems, and/or services to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the Sales organization to achieve the sales targets through high performance. The work model for the role is: onsite. This role is contributing to the electrification in UAE. You will be mainly accountable for:

  1. Building business relationships and proactively supporting partners and internal and external customers.
  2. Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships through excellent service and technical knowledge of the customer needs.
  3. Preparing and executing sales plans and bids.
  4. Identifying and developing new market opportunities in the assigned geographical area and segments.
  5. Generating demand for ABB installation Products through a constant and tailored approach towards consultants, OEMs, and contractors.
  6. Developing the business through the channel partners network identifying qualified opportunities and converting them into sustainable business.
  7. Collaborating with the sales team of the other ABB divisions in order to maximize the common business opportunities, furthermore collaborating with the product marketing team to take into the market the right value proposition bringing back relevant market information.
  8. Keeping CRM and all relevant reporting updated and reporting back to the Marketing & Sales Manager.
  9. Providing accurate Demand Order and Revenue forecasts.
  10. Having in-depth knowledge of AutoCAD, BIM & Navisworks, and reading and understanding architectural layouts, sections, and elevations.

Qualifications for the role

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in selling installation product portfolio with excellent technical & sales knowledge in Gulf Countries.
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work cohesively with the team to maximize output.
  • Passion for solutions and applications.
  • Comfortable defining pricing positioning.
  • Electrical Engineering background.
  • Willingness to travel when needed.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Good organization skills.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Comfortable using a CRM system.
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Office 365.
