Genius Group is looking for a dynamic Sales Manager who has a passion for sales and a hunger to achieve targets. As a Sales Manager based out of the Dubai location, you will be responsible for B2G (Business-to-Government) and B2B (Business-to-Business) sales. The role encompasses account and relationship management, prospecting, lead generation, and conversion to close the business via B2G or B2B. This candidate should be able to identify potential new markets and opportunities, analyze trends and data, and create sales plans to increase revenue. The Sales Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, identifying business opportunities, preparing and delivering sales presentations, negotiating contracts, and meeting sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive B2G and B2B sales plan aligned with company goals and strategy.
  • Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; track individual contributors and their accomplishments.
  • Ensure a strong relationship with key government decision-makers and influencers to exceed sales targets.
  • Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluate options; resolve internal priorities; recommend equity investments.
  • Develop proposals and present them to the end customer, showing the value proposition of your solutions to government entities.
  • Prepare documents for e-Tendering; study tender documents, qualification criteria, and scope of work; float RFQ to various vendors/contractors; collect quotations; prepare comparative statements; meet deadlines for tenders received from public sector undertakings and other organizations.
  • Negotiate and close B2G and B2B sales deals, ensuring profitability and adherence to contractual terms.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Proactively explore new government sales channels in the market.
  • Identify and explore new business opportunities and regularly follow up with potential clients.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients and ensure smooth coordination with internal departments for on-time performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of experience in B2B and B2G sales.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software; Salesforce is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with vendor registration, nProcure, GeM, Government portals, PSUs, etc.
  • Experience in B2B and B2G SaaS/Technology Selling.
  • Strong relationships with government ministries.
  • Proven experience in Government tender processes.
  • Experience working with public entities or government-owned companies.
  • Experience working with public market companies, public pre-held companies, government institutes, B2B, owned by treasury, selling to state-owned companies, and ministries.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively while improving processes and results, prioritizing work with minimal direction.
  • A track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals.
  • Deep understanding of your company's products and services and how they benefit government entities.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Must have experience in government tendering (Software) processes and documentation.
