About the role

The incumbent is tasked with driving sales growth and building strong relationships within the HORECA sector. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing client accounts, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The incumbent will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs effectively. This position is crucial for driving growth within the HORECA sector, requiring a combination of sales skills, industry knowledge, and relationship management.

Responsibilities

  1. Identify and target new potential clients in the HORECA sector.
  2. Develop and execute strategies to acquire new business and increase market share.
  3. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining positive relationships throughout the sales cycle.
  4. Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to close sales and ensure profitability.
  5. Handle contractual issues and ensure compliance with company policies.
  6. Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients through regular visits.
  7. Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and prepare regular reports for management.
  8. Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential new product opportunities.
  9. Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to create and implement effective sales and promotional strategies.
  10. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior sales staff when needed.
  11. Share best practices and ensure that the team adheres to the company's sales policies and procedures.

Requirements

  1. Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in sales within the HORECA sector.
  2. Experience in B2B sales is highly desirable.
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  4. Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
  5. Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.
  6. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
