Job Description
1. Sales & Business Development
- Identify and reach out to potential clients such as builders, contractors, real estate developers, and government projects.
- Promote and sell different types of concrete blocks (AAC, CLC, hollow, solid) based on customer requirements.
- Conduct cold calls, site visits, and product presentations to generate leads and close deals.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to finalize sales agreements.
- Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
2. Customer Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.
- Provide customers with technical guidance on block types, applications, and cost benefits.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales service needs.
- Ensure timely order processing, delivery coordination, and payment collection.
3. Market & Competitor Analysis
- Monitor market trends, demand patterns, and competitor pricing strategies.
- Identify new sales opportunities based on upcoming construction projects.
- Gather customer feedback and provide insights to improve product offerings and marketing strategies.
4. Coordination & Logistics
- Work closely with production, logistics, and dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, orders, deliveries, and payments.
- Track and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand efficiently.
Desired Candidate Profile
1. Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A diploma or certification in construction materials, building technology, or sales management is a plus.
2. Work Experience:
2-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in construction materials, cement, ready-mix concrete, or AAC blocks. Prior experience in B2B sales, field sales, or industrial sales is highly preferred. Experience in dealing with contractors, builders, real estate developers, and government infrastructure projects.
