Sales Executive - IT Hardware + Cybersecurity

Location: ABU DHABI

No of Positions: 1

Reporting to: General Manager

Co-ordinates with: All departments

Who are we?

Trans Emirates Systems LLC is a System Integrator present in Abu Dhabi for over 22 years. Under the Transem group we have four divisions.

  • IT Sales, Service & Support division deals with need assessment, design, and supply of IT Hardware. This division also undertakes Installations, configurations, commissioning and Annual Maintenance contracts. Cyber Security solutions and cloud solutions come under the same umbrella.
  • We also have a Software and Web development division with an in-house team that has designed and developed our own ERP, CRM, HRMS and several other products which are customizable.
  • Our newest; Distribution division deals with the supply of an extensive range of products for Networking, UPS, Electrical and Home automation solutions.

Experience: Min. 03 years hands on experience in Sales in an IT & Cyber Security

Main Purpose Of The Job:

  • Responsible for all sales activities in the assigned market territory and target group for Sales IT-Hardware and Network Products, Cyber Security Products
  • Directs all efforts and works towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values.
  • Will conduct research and recommend prospects for new business opportunities and manage new clients in the assigned market.
  • Will need to establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Will need to develop a business plan, sales goals and sales strategies for the assigned market that ensures attainment of sales goals and profitability of the company.
  • Contact potential and existing customers on the phone, by email, and in person and virtually if needed and generate leads.
  • Prepares individual action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
  • Handle customer questions, inquiries, and complaints, prepare and send quotes and proposals within a set time-frame.
  • Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
  • Manage the sales process through specific software programs and Build and maintain a CRM database.
  • Fulfill daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and actively participate in sales team meetings.
  • Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new products.
  • Ensure timely collection of dues and receivables from customers and co-ordinate with accounts department.
  • Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media.
  • Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
  • Ensure the availability of stock and samples for sales and demonstrations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports on a daily basis.
  • Create and conduct proposal presentations and RFP responses.
  • Collaborate with sales coordinators / Pre-sales team/draftsman in preparation of proposals, drawings and presentations.
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams.
  • Control expenses to meet budget guidelines.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.

Authority Financial:

  • Approvals to be secured from Superiors and Management.
  • Approve margins for Quotations as per Management direction and level of financial authority.

Language Proficiency:

  • Knowledge of good spoken and written English & Hindi. Arabic Speaking skills is desired.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common IT journals, financial reports.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers regulatory agencies, or members of the business community Ability to effectively present information to top management, agents and customers.

Computer Literacy:

  • To be very literate in computer operation and should be able to handle all reports and correspondence on the computers independently.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office. (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Should have good presentation skills especially for documents (PDF, Power Point).

Personal Attributes:

  • Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking, and presentation skills.
  • Solid working knowledge of budgeting, sales, business development, and strategic planning.
  • Ability to generate respect and trust from staff and external constituencies.
  • At least 3 years of experience, with 1 in a direct role as Sales Engineer.
  • Be honest and trustworthy, be respectful, possess cultural awareness and sensitivity.
  • Be flexible, demonstrate sound work ethics.
  • Always dress presentable and be well groomed.
